Overview

Fully automated, lights-out factories drive our digital transformation.

With a complex global business environment shaped by factors including climate change, ASE is accelerating smart manufacturing to raise equipment efficiency and productivity and to optimize energy consumption. In line with the vision of building advanced, robust smart factories, ASE established the CIM Committee in 2011 to drive digital transformation and build fully automated factories, including several lights-out factories. Today, ASE operates a total of 56 lights-out factories.
