Industry Partnership
ASE uses its role in the semiconductor value chain to build industry coalitions around climate action, circularity, talent development, diversity and sustainable innovation.
Leading through industry collaboration
SEMI represents thousands of companies across electronics design and manufacturing. ASE has participated for decades and takes active roles in committees that align the industry around shared challenges.
Global talent program
ASE helped shape programs that expand and diversify the semiconductor workforce. In Taiwan, the company advocated for government and university support, contributing to semiconductor curricula and the creation of a Semiconductor Academy.
Global ESG collaboration
As a founding member of the Semiconductor Climate Consortium, ASE supports cross-value-chain action on greenhouse-gas emissions. It also participates in the governance work that defines member roles and problem-solving structures.
Energy Collaborative
Industry roundtables identify barriers to low-carbon energy adoption across the Asia-Pacific region.
Circularity Working Group
ASE co-leads work on water and waste practices, unresolved issues, benchmarks and common standards.
SEMI Foundation
Board work supports workforce development, DEI, STEM education and connections among employers, schools and communities.

Supporting sustainable start-ups and ideas
ASE evaluates investments in businesses that can create positive environmental and social impact, including ideas outside its immediate core operations. The goal is to foster innovation, economic growth and new employment while raising expectations for corporate action.
